2018 Outstanding Engineer of the Year Award to Casey Harman

Casey is a Power Plant Electrical and Controls Engineer at Puget Sound Energy. His current work includes generator protection, power system stability model verification and NERC compliance. He also has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Casey brings a creative sense to real problems in the field including designing generator tests for MOD-32 compliance and Arc flash analysis. Twice in a short period of years he has earned PSE’s highest award for excellence, a rare occurrence for any employee.
Casey’s creative approach to problem solving combined with his excellent theoretical knowledge makes him extremely deserving of this award. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.
