Daniel works as consulting engineer at Puget Sound Energy in the Protection, Automation, and Controls Group. He has over 28 years of experience in the Electric Power industry. His most outstanding achievements include:

  1. Design and Implementation of PSE’s Transmission Line Automated Switching systems
  2. Design and Implementation of PSE’s Digital Substation and
  3. Development of a Virtual Digital Fault Recorder system at PSE

Daniel has demonstrated dedicated engineering mentorship and leadership, technical skills and abilities, to our industry and the region and that makes him most deserving of this award. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.
