Tanya Panomvana is currently a Principal Electrical Power Systems Engineer at Seattle City Light. Most of her time at Seattle City Light has been in the Distribution Engineering group where she worked on service projects, designing the customer’s electrical service from their property to the distribution system and engineering the related underground and overhead distribution system. Since 2022, Tanya has been the supervisor for the North Distribution Engineering group. She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2006 and Master’s in Business Administration in 2018, both from the University of Washington. She has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 2012. Tanya was the 2024 Local Organizing Committee Chair for the PES General Meeting in Seattle. She enjoyed working with IEEE PES during the General Meeting and hopes she can continue her involvement with the Seattle Chapter of IEEE PES for many years to come.

Chris Lee has been working as an Electrical Engineer at Seattle City Light for 8 years in various groups including joint use, grid modernization and now distribution planning where he focuses on forecasting and modeling. He recently joined IEEE Power and Energy Society after volunteering for the general meeting. Chris’s education background is in renewable energy engineering at Oregon Tech and environmental studies at University of Washington.

Katrina Alexander is currently an Associate Electrical Engineer at Seattle City Light in the North Distribution Engineering group, where she works in the Services Engineering and Technology Operations division. She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University, and obtained her PE last January.
